Khatereh Azarfar

Ms Khatereh (Kathy) Azarfar was born in Tehran and immigrated to Canada in 1990, later going on to study Computer Science at the University of Ottawa.

With over 25 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary, multi-site organizations in the tech industry, Ms Azarfar is an executive leader with a comprehensive understanding of telecom software development, organization leadership, and technology development management. In addition, she is an expert in modern and traditional management methodologies, and organizational and operational optimization. Ms Azarfar is currently working as Vice-President, Head of Product Development at Ericsson Canada.

Having always held a keen interest in human rights and gender equality, Ms Azarfar actively supports and advocates for Iranian citizens' fight for freedom.
