Farrokh Zandi

Dr. Farrokh Zandi is a professor in the Economics at Schulich School of Business, York University in Toronto, Canada. He is also currently serving as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Programs (BBA and International BBA) and the Director of International Business Designation at Schulich School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Carleton University, Ottawa; a Master of Arts in Economics (Honours) from Lakehead University, Thunder Bay and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Pahlavi University, Iran. His fields of specialization are International Economics, Economic Policy and Monetary Economics. Farrokh Zandi has near 30 years of teaching and public speaking, research and consulting experience in Economics and International Business. He has received numerous awards and recognitions including the Seymour Schulich Award for Teaching Excellence. He has also served as a consultant for various public and private enterprises including, Ontario Ministry of Health, Ontario Ministry of Trade and Economic Development, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Immigration, Human Resources Canada, Economic Council of Canada, China Ministry of Agriculture, China Fujian Province Banking Sector, China Ministry of Energy, and 3M.

Farrokh Zandi’s community activities include serving as the president of Iranian Green Seculars of Ontario, The President of the Iranian- Canadian Congress, member of the executive board of “Canadian Network for employment and entrepreneurial mentoring”, the Iranian Advisory Council at Family Service Association of Metro Toronto.
