Canadian Sanctions Related to Iran (Updated Aug 14, 2026)

The Special Economic Measures (Iran) Regulations were amended on August 14, 2026, reflecting the latest updates to Canada’s sanctions related to Iran.

Amendment

1 Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Special Economic Measures (Iran) Regulations¹ is amended by adding the following in numerical order:

111. Ali Abdollahi (born in 1959) (also known as Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi)
112. Ebrahim Zolfaghari
113. Ebrahim Azizi (born on June 22, 1963)
114. Hamid Hosseini
115. Shahram Irani (born in 1967)
